Be a Good Friend/Bride and Save Your Friends A Large Expense
If you are the bride to be, I hope you are considering cheap bridesmaid dresses for your close friends. These days you can purchase relatively cheap bridesmaid formal wear and gowns and still find dresses that are beautiful. I'm not kidding here, I've seen stunning bridesmaid dresses that sold for as low as $120 a dress. You can actually go cheaper than that, but now you are risking appearance.

If your bridesmaids can't afford even a cheap bridesmaid dress, I suggest only having on bridesmaid, and why not buy her the dress. You can also ask your close friends if they can even afford such an expense. Explain to them that you really want them to be in the wedding party as a bridesmaid, but you don't want to cost them allot of money. This way your friend can bow out and still come to the wedding day. (of course)

Cheap bridesmaid dresses usually have one thing in common - they pretty much barely make it through the wedding day, reception and evening dance. Cheap dresses can look stunning, but since they are made cheaply they can't handle wear and tear. That's just fine too, because 99 times out of 100 you never the bridesmaid gown or dress longer than that.
